THE GOAL
A historic cottage,
ready for every guest.
A historic cottage in Perry was transformed into a 3-bedroom, 2-bath vacation rental. The renovation preserved the character that made the house special, including the original hardwood floors, while making it comfortable and easy to maintain for guests.
This complete gut renovation included new HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Changing the original 4-bedroom, 1-bath layout to 3 bedrooms and 2 baths created room for a large, custom-designed master suite with vaulted ceilings and a new master bathroom.
Moving the front door opened up more usable space in the living room. A custom banquette was built in the dining area, and all exterior siding was replaced to give the cottage a fresh, finished appearance.

We installed new flooring throughout, refinished the original hardwoods, and added matching hardwood where needed. We also rebuilt the flooring system in the back of the house.
